What is the Molecule Masher?

 

Ideal for children’s & science museum gift shops, educational stores, and a great gift for the junior scientist.  The Goga Heat Molecule Masher demonstrates an amazing exothermic chain reaction in the palm of your hand.  When in its liquid state, it is a super-saturated solution of sodium acetate (CH₃Co₂Na) in water.

Inspire young, inquisitive minds to learn. 

By flexing the disk, you crack open one of its molecules.  This starts a chain reaction causing the molecules to crystallize and release stored heat energy reaching 130 degrees.

 

When the pad cools, you can restore the heat energy by boiling the Molecule Masher in a pot of water until all the crystals are dissolved (about 10 minutes).  Let cool to room temperature and it can be activated again.
